The study of contemporary digital video cameras, including aspects of motion picture capture, their distinct features, light response, and work flow via the post production process. Study of camera set up, operation, camera movement options, lens and filter choices when creating cinematic imagery. Practical experience in a workshop setting interpreting shot selection, blocking, lighting, filming and crew responsibilities of the camera department member as Director of Photography, Camera Operator, 1st Assistant Camera, 2nd Assistant Camera and Digital Imaging Technician.
